Angels We Have Heard on High: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2018

Angels We Have Heard on High

The English version of the lyrics to the Christmas carol “Angels We Have Heard on High” was written in 1862 by James Chadwick, Roman Catholic Bishop of Hexham and Newcastle, England. The original music was a French song titled, Les Anges Dans Nos Campagnes.  Bishop Chadwick’s lyrics are not an exact translation from the French. This beautiful song recounts the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ as it is depicted in the Gospel of St. Luke.

Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plain
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be?
Which inspire your heavenly songs?
Gloria

Come to Bethlehem and see
Him whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.
Gloria

See Him in a manger laid,
Jesus, Lord of heaven and earth;
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
With us sing our Saviour’s birth.
Gloria

Les Anges dans Nos Campagnes

Les anges dans nos campagnes
Ont entonné le chant des cieux;
Et l’écho de nos montagnes
reprend cet air mélodieux:
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Bergers, pour qui cette fête?
Quel est l’objet de tous ces chants?
Quel vainqueur, quelle conquête
Mérite ces cris triomphants?
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Ils annoncent la naissance
Du Rédempteur, Roi d’Israël
Et, dans sa reconnaissance,
La terre chante avec le ciel:
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Bergers, loin de vos retraites
Unissez-vous à leurs concerts
Et que vos tendres musettes
Fassent retentir dans les airs:
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Cherchons tous l’heureux village
Qui l’a vu naître sous ses toits,
Offrons-lui le tendre hommage
Et de nos cœurs et de nos voix!
Gloria in excelsis Deo.
Gloria in excelsis Deo.

Reflection on a Sunday Afternoon

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

Christ. Our only hope– reflected in Rouville’s words, captioned in the image above.

Also, the Hail Mary remains our eternal prayer of refuge:

AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Someone has to say the truth…

SYRIA: A miracle to behold on the streets of Aleppo

By Marielena Montesino de Street

One of my dear readers sent me this video of a beautiful procession for Our Lady of Fátima on the streets of Aleppo, which took place on May 13. This is the first procession in six years, due to the horrific war. A miracle to behold.

Merry Christmas to my Readers in the U.S. and Around the World!

Merry Christmas 2016

Christmas message:

May this Christmas be a healthy and peaceful one for all of my readers in the United States and around the world.

My prayers continue for those who remain in regions torn by violence. It is important now, more than ever, that we concentrate on the love, peace and purity that the Christ child brought to the world. He remains the only hope for humanity. Without Him nothing makes sense.

The Plight of Christian Refugees in Pakistan

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

There is no doubt that the persecution of Christians has intensified all over the world.

Pakistanis who convert to Christianity suffer terrible persecution inside their country. Their only chance of survival is to flee. Many of these Pakistani Christians seek refuge in Thailand where they wait as UN-registered asylum seekers to be processed by the UNHCR (the UN High Commissioner for Refugees)– but the UN can take years to process their documents. In the meantime they suffer inhume treatment inside Thailand.
It appears that the United Nations does not place sufficient importance on the processing of Christian refugees– compared to the quick actions they have taken in Europe on behalf of Muslim refugees fleeing war-torn areas in the Middle East.
Again, the United Nations– which is supposed to practice “social justice”– seems to apply their justice on a selective basis.

Donald Trump wants to Make the Vatican Great Again!

… bigger and stronger than ever before.

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

A special report by Marielena Montesino de Stuart for
TheRomanCatholicWorld.com— in light of Francis’s comment that Donald J. Trump is “not Christian”– because he wants to build a “great, big, beautiful wall” on our southern border. Trump finds this hypocritical since the Vatican has a wall.

DONALD TRUMP WANTS TO MAKE THE VATICAN GREAT AGAIN! Copyright © Marielena Montesino de Stuart. All rights reserved.

The man, the myth, the legend who will be “the greatest jobs president that God ever created” now has his eyes set on fixing the Vatican, once and for all– before Francis totally runs it to the ground.

In keeping with his pledge to make Mexico pay for building a wall on our southern border, Trump will make the Muslim countries pay for all the necessary expenses that result from his efforts to make the Vatican great again, whether it is fixing the ancient wall, or cleaning out the modernist Vatican controversial corrupt banking system or its myriad dicasteries. As with ISIS, Trump is “the worst thing that’s ever happened” to the modernists in the Vatican.

But the repair of the wall is the simplest thing that Trump will tackle in the Vatican. The most important aspect of this overhaul is the fact that Donald J. Trump will call for a “total and complete shutdown” of Marxists entering the Vatican, until we can figure out “what the HELL is going on!

Trump knows full well that something has been rotting in the Vatican for more than 50 years, under the socialist agenda of Vatican II (the Second Vatican Council)– which was a “terrible deal– and a disgrace,” as far as Trump is concerned. Most irritating to Trump is the fact that just like in the Iran deal, where the Iranians self-inspect their nuclear weapons program, the Vatican is doing the same with their internal commissions regarding pederast priests and prelates, as well as financial scandals.

As a result of the Vatican II deal, Trump is convinced that when the Vatican sends its people, “they’re not sending their best.”

They’re sending people that have lots of problems.”

They’re bringing crime” (as in money laundering).

They’re bringing “their rapists” (as in the infestation of pederast priests and prelates).

And some, he assumes, “are good people“– but they’re mostly dead.

Trump expects to go beyond the excommunication and defrocking of pederast priests, bringing “back a hell of a lot worse” punishments for these criminals who have infiltrated the Church.

In the meantime, Trump is sticking to his plans to fix the Vatican, in spite of Francis’s comment that he’s “not Christian.” Trump feels no remorse over his pledge to cleanup Washington DC and the Vatican. As a matter of fact, Trump refused to back down by adding: “I think apologizing’s a great thing, but you have to be wrong. I will absolutely apologize, sometime in the hopefully distant future, if I’m ever wrong.”  With this in mind, we can safely assume that Trump is waiting for Francis to apologize to HIM.

Finally, Trump had these words to say about Francis:

… “he talks like a truck driver” (even his sister says so).

… “he doesn’t have his facts, he’ll say anything that comes to his mind.”

…  his Vatican circus “has failed“… his “ratings went very, very, very low and very bad,” since he got elected… “I mean he’s basically a disaster.”
