MEMORIAL DAY 2017: President Donald J. Trump’s Speech at Arlington National Cemetery

A Special Message on this Memorial Day

As a survivor of Communism, I extend my deepest gratitude to all the soldiers who have died for our freedom, and to their families for the support that they gave their sons and daughters as they went into battle– never to see them alive again. The suffering of these families cannot be measured. Our fallen heroes and their families are present in my prayers each and every day.

President Trump’s Memorial Day speech at Arlington National Cemetery

“…God is with you, and your loved ones are with Him. They died in war so that we could live in peace. I believe that God has a special place in Heaven for those who laid down their lives so that others may live free from fear and this horrible oppression. Now, let us pledge to make the most of that freedom that they so gallantly and brilliantly fought for, and they died to protect.  Let us also pledge to tell the stories of Robert, Chris, Andrew– and all of America’s fallen warriors, today and for the next one thousand years.”– President Donald J. Trump – Memorial Day May 29, 2017, Arlington National Cemetery.

Greetings from Washington DC on Memorial Day 2016

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

I wish all my readers and their loved ones a blessed and peaceful Memorial Day. I am in Washington DC, a great place to remember and honor our fallen heroes.

I must say that it is impressive to see the capital of our great nation filled with thousands of patriotic Americans, as well as foreigners, who are here to pay their respects for those who gave their lives so that we would not suffer oppression.  It is significant to note that this city is also filled today with thousands of Trump supporters everywhere– who also came to hear him speak in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Indeed, an unforgettable event.

May God bless the United States of America and the members of our extraordinary Armed Forces.

Be filled with faith and pride. The best days for our nation are yet to come!
