I remain confident that the conscience of many has been shaken by the undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s massacre of babies. The hellish images and statements made by those involved in murdering babies and selling their body parts must lead to a moral, ethical, legal and medical environment that will recognize that abortion has always been a crime– otherwise, we have no future as a nation.
The value of a baby’s life cannot be nuanced by medical discussions and interpretations– nor by the opinions of misguided legal “experts.” Every baby’s life is precious.

The devil is in the details…
I have always held the firm opinion that the defense of innocent human life cannot be nuanced. I have stated this in my writings and as a tenet of public policy during my campaign for the United States Senate (on the ballot 2012 – Florida).
It is my opinion that the Dublin Declaration does not clarify the critical issue of “procured abortion”—that is, inducing a baby who will not survive or has little chance of survival outside the mother’s womb.
I must clarify, for the sake of justice and fairness, that the more than one thousand individuals who have signed the Dublin Declaration—including some members of the Committee on Excellence in Maternal Healthcare (the select panel of writers and original signators of the Dublin Declaration) may not be aware of what, in my opinion, is the critical need for the Dublin Declaration to clearly define what it means by “necessary medical treatments” and how this ambiguity may leave the door open for spurious justifications of procured abortions—which are abortions per se.
Regardless of their good intentions, unless the crafters of the Dublin Declaration make it clear that delivering a premature baby who cannot or may not survive outside the mother’s womb (procured abortion) is never a reasonable nor permissible pretext for “necessary medical treatment”—then their declaration could lead less informed individuals to accept procured abortions as an acceptable pro-life option.
My concerns over the Dublin Declaration are also based on a statement by Dr. Eoghan de Faoite, who is one of the members of the select panel which wrote and signed the declaration.
Dr. de Faoite’s statement, which I quote below, was made on January 10, 2013 during a Joint Committee on Health and Children Debate held at the Houses of the Oireachtas (Ireland’s National Parliament) in Dublin:
“Irish obstetricians and other specialists will always intervene to save the life of a mother when she has a life-threatening complication of pregnancy. This practice of intervening, which includes premature delivery of the baby even when the baby has little of [sic] no chance of surviving, is permitted in Ireland today. It is permitted under Irish law and by the Medical Council’s ethical guidelines and is within pro-life principles.”
Dr. de Foite’s statement in the Irish Parliament is of great significance and concern, as one of the original drafters and signators of the Dublin Declaration.
Dianne N. Irving, PhD, as Professor of Philosophy and Medical Ethics at The Catholic University of America, published an excellent analysis titled, Abortion: Correct Application of Natural Law Theory, which is the theory of natural person known as the principle of double effect. The proper application of this principle is the crucial factor in decisions made during extreme medical conditions involving a pregnancy.
I encourage my readers to pay careful attention to her analysis (which I provide in the reference section below)– in connection with the issue of procured abortions.
Furthermore, the correct application of the principle of double effect is in observance with Roman Catholic teaching (I am a Roman Catholic) and is centered on the fact that knowledge and intent are critical for medical practitioners involved in a woman’s pregnancy. As such, it is not reasonable nor acceptable for a medical practitioner to carry out a procured abortion as “necessary medical treatment” knowing that the “baby has little or no chance of surviving.” The Roman Catholic Church is explicit on her rejection of procured abortions.
When it comes to procured abortions, the following expressions come to mind, “the devil is in the details” and “words have consequences”(or the consequences of words left unsaid, in the case of the Dublin Declaration) —because while the subject of procured abortions may at first appear small inside the house of horrors where abortions are performed— this does not mean that we should ignore the ambiguity of “necessary medical treatments.” The fact is that ambiguity leaves the door open for abortion advocates who are aggressively looking for loopholes, i.e., procured abortions.
A single loophole can bring an end to precious innocent and helpless lives, that later end up cut into pieces and sold to the highest bidder at Planned Parenthood.
This is the reason why a uniform and authentic pro-life position cannot be ambiguous nor nuance the value of a baby’s life.

This is how the idea of “exceptions” in abortion started– which is nothing but a pretext for political expediency. Fortunately, there are still some organizations which remain steadfast to the original meaning of pro-life without exceptions.
It is time that we bring back uniformity and authenticity to the pro-life narrative– by exposing and explaining the falsehoods behind the “exceptions” pretext in abortion. I am convinced that if you take the time to read the information provided in the reference section below, you will be well-equipped to address the presidential candidate of your choice with critical information regarding abortion.
I am a woman of deep religious faith and place myself and my efforts in the hands of Almighty God. But if you are reading this as an agnostic or as an atheist– and feel that the existence of God is inconclusive, you are still bound to humanity, through all times and in all circumstances.
Great things have been achieved when the indomitable human spirit is allowed to soar for the good of others in a civilized society. The human mind and spirit lead to innovation and ways to create a better future. As such, every innocent human life counts. Imagine what we could have achieved in the United States alone if millions of lives had not been lost to abortion– a loss which now exceeds the population of the United Kingdom.
This monumental loss of human potential is our greatest enemy. Ultimately, it is the deep understanding and appreciation of this human potential that leads many to God.
To ignore the urgent need for the defense of innocent human life is to deny the value of our own existence.

It’s amazing how things can radically change in just three years.
You see, three years ago, when I was on the ballot in Florida as a Republican Candidate for the United States Senate I was considered too “radical” by the Republican establishment for my authentic pro-life view– which means I make no exceptions for the life of the mother, rape or incest. I supported my position with solid and irrefutable scientific and moral evidence– but the overwhelming majority of Republican voters would not listen– because when it comes to the defense of the unborn they believe that they have the right to choose who gets to live and who gets to die.
This exceptions position, dear readers, is what has led to the erosion of what it means to be authentically prolife.
This exceptions position, dear readers, is what has led to the death camps at Planned Parenthood.
The exceptions position is what the Nazis (remember the Nazis were Socialists) carried out in their death camps– and it is what Communists continue to practice in countries like Cuba, China, Vietnam, Laos, North Korea– and everywhere the United Nations (a socialist entity) has a presence– which unfortunately is everywhere in the world.
But last night I saw a miracle happen! Candidates like Marco Rubio, who was known to espouse exceptions on abortion– backed away from that position when Fox news anchor Megyn Kelly confronted him with the question.
I was also pleasantly surprised to hear Scott Walker defend his “no exceptions” position on abortion. I would like to know how long Scott Walker has held this view– because I would not have felt so alone with my “no exceptions” position during my candidacy for the U.S. Senate in 2012! I don’t remember Scott Walker openly discussing his “no exceptions” position during his gubernatorial run in 2012.
Now, if only Scott Walker could be as principled when it comes to Communist China– given his record for rolling out the red carpet for Chinese investors on U.S. soil– together with George W. Bush, Rick Scott and Rick Perry. There are others in the Republican Party who also kiss up to the Communists in Beijing. And let’s not forget that China is a blood bath of abortion and human organ trafficking.
I would also have liked to hear Dr. Ben Carson speak about the no exceptions on abortion issue– particularly because he is a medical doctor and neurosurgeon. Dr. Carson’s website does not clarify if he does or does not believe in these exceptions. Why was he not confronted with this issue last night, I ask.
The above scenario begs the following question:
Are candidates like Marco Rubio and Scott Walker now expressing a “no exceptions” position on abortion as a result of the undercover Planned Parenthood videos? Is this about political expediency?

The United States has degenerated into a nation that values money and the life of an animal more than the life of a human helpless baby. What future is there for a nation like this?

During the past two weeks the world has seen the investigative undercover videos that are exposing the brutal dismemberment of babies at Planned Parenthood– for the purpose of selling their tissues and body parts.
Watching these videos is a hellish experience– but one which humanity needs to confront. Unfortunately, liberal politicians and “social justice” advocates for women’s “health rights” are out in force trying to turn the issue around by questioning the “legality” of the undercover investigation that has exposed these heinous crimes.
What a cowardly act!
In fact, a temporary restraining order has been issued by the Los Angeles Superior Court preventing the Center for Medical Progress, the group which conducted the Planned Parenthood investigation, from releasing any videos of leaders of a California “company” (Planned Parenthood) that provides fetal tissue to “researchers.”
Public indignation about Planned Parenthood’s savage practices is coming mostly from the pro-life sector– with some pro-choicers feeling a bit queasy– but too afraid to rock the women’s rights boat, while the liberal talking heads mostly ignore this massacre of babies.
Now, in comes Cecil the lion– who was killed by a dentist from Minnesota while on safari in Zimbabwe. There’s no question that killing this beloved lion was senseless– but the attention that Cecil the lion has received from the media and through social networking completely overshadows the attention that dismembered babies have received.
A similar situation exists in Spain, where there’s a socialist movement focused on outlawing bullfighting– while thousands of babies are murdered through abortion. Interestingly, the very people who are determined to interfere with bullfighting are also promoting the Islamization of Spain. For example, separatists in Catalonia– which is one of Spain’s autonomous regions, encourage the building of mosques and Islamic centers in exchange for votes in favor of cessation.
Meanwhile, Cecile– the “lioness” of Planned Parenthood– has published an opinion piece in the Washington Post fiercely defending Planned Parenthood’s barbaric practices and trying to portray PP’s business as “medicine” by stating that “medical and scientific conversations can be upsetting to hear…”
What is “medical” or “scientific” about tearing a baby apart and selling his or her tissues and body parts?
We live in a world where lions and bulls come before babies. Unreal, is it not?

Hawaii is the site of a meeting held by the trade “experts” who are putting the finishing touches on the harmful TPP deal. Now they are pressuring Canada to alter its supply management, which would affect the Canadian poultry and dairy industries. Canada’s government doesn’t want to mess with their chickens and cows right now– and prefers to deal with them after their elections are over.
Canadian farmers– brace yourselves!
Meanwhile, Malaysia is being removed from worst status in the U.S. State Department Human Trafficking List– in order to prop it up as a partner in this trade deal. It’s enough to make you nauseous. Vietnam, another TPP trade partner, is also being upgraded on the human trafficking list.
The partners of the TPP are Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam.
Human rights groups and many legislators are denouncing these upgrades in the Human Trafficking List– but the crafters and promoters of the TPP appear unfazed.
There’s some excellent cheddar produced in Canada. It looks like soon it will be replaced by Malaysian Cheddar at our local markets.
Turkey’s dislike of Assad’s regime in Syria does not sit well with Moscow– and Turkey’s support of Syria’s opposition forces has not gone unnoticed in the Kremlin. If the Turks intervene in Syria, the PKK will most likely take up arms against Turkey once again.

I published the above commentary, There is Anxiety in Ankara, on May 17, 2014 after Russia’s annexation of Crimea– anticipating the events that would take place in the region, particularly involving Turkey, ISIS and the Kurdish PKK.
Allow me to explain.
The government of Turkey, which for a long time had turned secular, has renewed its embrace of Islam in honor of its Ottoman days of “glory.” This retro style is not very pleasing to the majority of Turks– who have grown used to a more modern European identity, considering their modern geopolitical status at the crossroads of two continents.
But with Turkey’s reset of the Islamic button and ISIS plowing through the cradle of civilization killing everyone and destroying everything in sight– and asking others to kill the infidels wherever they are– it is as if the Moslems are standing once again at the Gates of Vienna.
Interestingly, within a matter of a few short days, Turkey, a passive member of NATO, has finally moved into action against ISIS, allowing coalition attacks to be launched from its bases– but with a proviso: their military strikes, as far as the Turks are concerned, must include aerial bombings of PKK Kurdish separatist locations in northern Iraq.
It also appears that Turkey has negotiated a no-fly zone in northern Syria, with details to be worked out, in order to deal with the Assad regime (which the Turks fear)– and which the United States has not considered a priority– compared with the ISIS threat.
This “no-fly zone” is technically not one– since coalition forces would be allowed to fly through it– but on the basis of military tactics it would be considered a no-fly zone.
The situation with Turkey is getting complicated– since the Turks are going after the PKK Kurds– who have been willing to take up arms on the ground against ISIS in the region. As such, the Kurds accuse the Turkish government of aiding jihadists– and consider Turks to be collaborationists with ISIS. This has brought on new violence between Turkish and Kurdish forces– and has ended several years of cease fire between them.
The word on the street is that the Turkish government is more interested in going after Assad and the Kurds– than in fighting ISIS.
Sadly, this will further threaten the entire Balkans-Caucasus region– as Russia may threaten Turkey, given that Moscow does not want Turkey to go against the Assad regime.
And the Turks… well, they have been terrified of the Russians– since Catherine the Great crushed their Crimean Khanate.
The people of Kenya see “gay rights” as a nonissue– and Obama is well aware of this. But during today’s press conference in Nairobi, Obama insisted on lecturing the President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, on this subject– and made the following statement:
“As an African-American I am painfully aware of the history of what happens when people are treated differently under the law.”
President Kenyatta wouldn’t budge– and firmly responded that “gay rights” are a “nonissue” for Kenyans.
Now… let’s see how differently Barack Hussein Obama II has been treated as an African-American by the American people under the law:
√ The American people elected Barack Hussein Obama II twice as President of the United States– the highest office in the land, bestowing upon him the privilege to lead what’s left of the free world. Obama took this privilege and turned it on its head by “leading from behind.” We are “painfully aware” of the results of his “leadership.”

√ He attended the elite Harvard School of Law (where he was given the opportunity to serve as president of theHarvard Law Review)
√ He was hired to work as a civil rights attorney.
√ He was hired to teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School.

It’s warm and humid in Nairobi– and I don’t think that Obama has had his sip of Chang’aa, a Kenyan brew needed in order to face the staunch position that Kenyans have on the issue of homosexuality.
In fact, I’m watching the live press conference– where President Barack Obama and Uhuru Kenyatta, the President of the Republic of Kenya are exchanging their views according to protocol. But when Obama brought up the issue of “gay rights”– President Kenyatta was unmoved. Kenyatta firmly and clearly responded that while Kenya and the United States share many values– such as love for democracy, entrepreneurship, the value of the family, etc.– there are some things that they do not share and do not accept– and one of them is “gay rights.” President Kenyatta emphasized that Kenyans are more interested in the inclusivity of women, Kenya’s infrastructure, education, roads, entrepreneurship– but “gay rights is a nonissue“– and “is not foremost on the minds of Kenyans.”
President Kenyatta put Obama in his place, by defending his country’s culture and fundamental moral values– and not letting Obama plow through Kenya with his entourage of United Nations intruders from the homosexual collective.
Kenya has a lot of problems to deal with, which now includes terrorism. The last thing Kenyans need is for their society to focus on the sexual proclivities of a very small group.
Obama and the homosexual collective should focus on denouncing Islamic extremists who are brutally murdering homosexuals by throwing them off the top of tall buildings. With the danger of Islamic terrorism encroaching on Kenyan territory– imagine the danger that homosexuals would face at the hands of Islamic extremists if they are allowed to publicly promote their sexual agenda.

It doesn’t look like Kenyans are too excited to see Obama in their neighborhood. Kenyans have strict laws against the legalization of homosexual “marriage”– and they are not going to put up with Obama’s lectures about homosexual rights. They’ve warned him repeatedly.
Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city, has come to a screeching halt– with massive security measures for Obama’s visit, which are nothing less than disruptive to its citizens– who are used to the city’s frenetic pace.
But Kenyans are taking Obama’s visit in stride– and making the best of it by selling tee shirts and trinkets with Obama’s image on them. They have even issued travel advisories– such as the one from Joseph Warungu, a Kenyan journalist who has recommended that Obama drink Chang’aa in order to relax– with its nearly 100% alcohol content, which “literally burns the inside, turning black lips into flaming red features.”
Kenyans are ready for Obama… and with a sip of Chang’aa he’s going to be just fine.
Both Donald Trump and Francis like to say whatever is on their minds– but so far Trump has figured out how to express his views with tremendous vigor– while staying at the top of the polls. The same cannot be said about Francis, whose popularity is waning among American Catholics. Not a good thing, considering that he will visit the U.S. in September.
Francis… it looks like you need to consult “The Donald.”
The activity out of the Vatican defies our wildest expectations. Here is Sandro Magister– one of Rome’s most famous vaticanisti, finding himself banished from the Vatican on this warm summer evening in Rome– for reportedly leaking the “Environmental” Encyclical.
My goodness… it’s not like it’s the Watergate tapes! It’s just another liberal encyclical!
What’s next in this modernist saga of encyclopedic pronouncements and “who-am-I-to-judge” moments under Francis’s pontificate?

China’s politicians have inflated equity prices and– as typical communists– made a mess of their response to the collapse that wiped out $4 trillion in less than 30 days. Ready to bet your money on China? I hope not!
What just took place should serve as ANOTHER WARNING that you can never trust communists. So much for Xi Jinping’s economic reforms. The handling of this financial crisis simply shows that the Chinese communist regime wants a determining role in the markets.
Let’s hope that you will not be drawn into the fog of farcical diplomatic rhetoric about Cuba. Open your eyes and learn about the dangerous liaison between the US and Havana:
How many videos will it take for the US Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, to address the activity depicted by some of Planned Parenthood’s executives? The organization that has conducted the undercover investigation has announced that it will continue to release more videos involving the sale of baby tissue and body parts. Is the US Attorney General paying attention?

Here is the interview conducted during the flight from Paraguay to Rome– where Francis talks about the hammer and sickle crucifix he received from the very Marxist President of Bolivia, Evo Morales.
Well, there’s no group. It’s just me from Portugal. (laughing) Holiness, what did you think when you saw the hammer and sickle with Christ on it? And where did this object end up? Ah, yes, truly. Let’s do the hermeneutic of that time: Espinal was an enthusiast of this Marxist analysis of the reality, but also of theology using Marxism. From this, he came up with this work. Also the poetry of Espinal was of this kind of protest. But, it was his life, it was his thought. He was a special man, with so much human geniality, who fought in good faith, no? Making a hermeneutic like this, I understand this work. For me it wasn’t an offense, but I had to do this hermeneutic, and I say it to you so that there aren’t any wrong opinions.

Francis recently visited Bolivia and received a crucifix with Christ nailed to a hammer and sickle in the form of a cross. The fact that the very Marxist President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, dared to present this gift to Francis speaks volumes!
There is no question that abortion and the sale of baby tissue and body parts will be front and center during this presidential election cycle– but will the candidates have the courage to take this urgent issue and make it a priority in their campaigns? After all… didn’t one of them say “all lives matter”?
The world has seen and heard from Francis in the Vatican more than anyone could have imagined… but his rhetoric and actions do not take me by surprise. It’s time to read the Francis Archive– and you will not look so completely bewildered!
