President Trump has delivered a hard blow to international Communism by saying goodbye to the Paris Accord. Francis in the Vatican is disappointed, so are Angela Merkel in Germany, Paolo Gentiloni in Italy and Emmanuel Macron in France- as well Xi Jingping in China and Vladimir Putin in Russia. Well, well… we are not surprised!

Today is a great day in America– and all over the world. The Communists have been dealt a hard blow by losing the United States as their prized captured servant in what is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) international Communist taxpayer scams in history: the Paris Accord.
President Trump kept his promise and pulled America out of the Paris Accord, during a brilliant speech delivered today at the White House Rose Garden. The new Director of the EPA Administration, Scott Pruitt, followed President Trump with some excellent words.
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION: Paris Accord, EU, European Union, Communism, Communists, Donald J. Trump President of the United States, Scott Pruitt Director of the EPA Administration, White House, Rose Garden.

These images only show the surface of an extremely rigorous trip by President Trump, the First Lady, members of the First Family, as well as U.S. cabinet officials– trying to broker a peace deal for the Middle East, while protecting America’s future and prosperity.
I will add images of the President’s journey through Europe, including his visit with Francis in the Vatican. Thank you President Trump for your courage and your effort.

At this dangerous time, when so many innocent people are dying at the hands of savage Islamic terrorists, I am extremely grateful for the readership, as well as the informative and enthusiastic comments that I receive from readers in the United States and around the world– who are deeply concerned about the socialism that has opened the doors to our current geopolitical catastrophe.
I want to thank the United States, France, European Union, Spain, Austria, United Kingdom, Greece, Norway, Australia, UAE (United Arab Emirates), Canada, Australia… and so many more countries that visit my blogs!

See that thou hast in thy company men, whether religious or lay, who are right worthy and loyal and not full of covetousness, and confer with them oft; and fly and eschew the company of the wicked. Hearken willingly to the Word of God and keep it in thine heart, and seek diligently after prayers and indulgences. Love all that is good and profitable and hate all that is evil, wheresoever it may be.– Louis IX, Saint and King of France.
I chose to begin today’s commentary with the above quote from Louis IX as a reminder of the traditions, wisdom and greatness of Europe, in thought, faith and culture.
This wisdom was evident yesterday when the citizens of Great Britain presented the world with a courageous example by choosing to free themselves from the European Union’s socialist chokehold. This is a devastating blow to the globalists socialists all over the world– and an inspiration for the Millennial generation, which is being mentally poisoned, each and every day, with socialist ideas based on materialistic atheism.
We have witnessed EU’s economic policies, which have decimated the economy of Europe’s smaller nations, such as Greece and Spain, thus destroying the lives of millions. The EU’s political policies have also proven to be a dismal failure. Today, Europe is a place of fear– with violent protests against EU policies, and Islamic terrorists on the march, who kill and maim innocent Europeans and visitors from all over the world– in cities like Paris, Brussels, London, Cologne, Stockholm, Madrid, and others.
European cities used to be places where one could walk with a sense of wonderment, while experiencing the history of so many great cultures. Today, many of these cities, while continuing to attract millions, are also places of terrible violence, where citizens and visitors must watch their every move– afraid of another Islamic terrorist attack. It will take a very, very long time for Europe to recover from this horrific environment.
The EU socialist policies responsible for the Islamization of the European continent through mass immigration have brought great social unrest– in spite of the ongoing protests and pleas from citizens across Europe, who can no longer tolerate the violence and instability of cities and towns assigned to accommodate the influx of migrants.
As you have seen, my commentary today began with a quote from Saint Louis, King of France. In this spirit of faith, it is imperative that I clarify that the charity extended to migrants and refugees fleeing war torn regions is extremely important. In fact, as a former political refugee from Communist Cuba, I know full well the plight of those who flee oppression and chaos. But the violence that exists in Europe, perpetrated mostly by home-grown Islamic extremists, proves that this is a very different situation, which cannot be compared to the charity extended to refugees and migrants during other periods in history– when they were assimilated and they embraced the culture and the laws of the nations that protected them.
The EU socialists in Brussels have ignored one important and distinct fact: Europe is being subjected to the same violent scenario it faced at the Gates of Vienna in 1683, when she defended herself against the Islamists of the Ottoman Empire. Yes, history repeats itself– mostly because man allows it.
Get out of the EU
European nations need to follow the example of the United Kingdom, by leaving the EU and it’s socialist grip on their economies and sovereignty. This must be followed by the establishment of laws that will stabilize their societies, morally and economically.
In addition, measures must be taken to establish safe zones in the Middle East, for the care of refugees. The obscene amount of money and incredible man-power being used in Europe to fight Islamic terrorism far exceeds what would be needed to maintain refugee safe zones. These safe zones would provide a dignified environment– unlike some of the camps in Europe, where refugees are subjected to subhuman conditions– while the United Nations claims that it is running out of money, and the EU bureaucrats in Brussels wring their hands and issue vapid proclamations and excuses.
Do not listen to the self-serving talking heads in the media– who are acting as if the sky is falling because the UK has left the EU. Great Britain was a powerful nation before the socialists came up with the EU.
This is a great moment in modern history. It is also a time for us to follow the wisdom of men like King Louis IX of France– not just with words, but with actions. The people of Great Britain have led the way. The rest of Europe must follow. Get out of the EU.

The gruesome photos of dismembered bodies and pieces of fuselage scattered over a 10-mile radius near the Ukrainian-Russian border— is a scene from hell. It is a rather painful coincidence that this horrific attack took place on the 96th anniversary of another gruesome event: the execution of the Russian Royal family, by the Bolsheviks.
The attack on Flight 17 is an act of war– which, according to reports, appears to have been perpetrated by individuals who had access to, and operational knowledge of a BUK, which is a Russian-made, medium-range surface-to-air missile system.
While the Ukrainians blame the Russians– and the Russians blame the Ukrainians, intelligence reports from the United Kingdom and Washington are pointing the finger at Vladimir Putin and his Russian-backed separatist forces in eastern Ukraine.
Barack Obama’s initial disconnected remarks about the plane’s crash (“it appears to be a tragedy“) were quite disturbing– even to the point of eliciting criticism from the mainstream media.
A similar disconnected tone was also noted in a joint statement by the President of the European Commission and the President of the European Council in Brussels.
Approximately twenty-four hours later, Obama did some image damage control by presenting a much more somber approach, demanding accountability and calling for an in-depth investigation of the attack. The Europeans followed suit.
It should come as no surprise that during this international socialist era, both the United States government and the European Union are looking towards the United Nations for a plan to address the attack on flight 17.
What?
The United Nations?
Yes, the same United Nations which has elected Cuba and Russia to the Human Rights Council– but somehow forgot to include Ukraine.
Yes, the same United Nations which has Russia and China as permanent members of the United Nations “Security” Council.
Which begs the question: how can anyone expect that the United Nations is going to legitimately assume the role of decision-maker and justice-seeker in the act of war involving Flight 17– when it protects and elevates terrorist communist governments to positions of leadership?
Ah… but you see, the United Nations is the “new leader” of the world– and you have been conditioned to accept this as a “global citizen.”
Interestingly, a few hours before the attack on Flight 17, I had published a brief commentary on a decision made by a Dutch court, declaring the Netherlands liable for the death of 300 Bosniaks in 1995, who were under the protection of Dutch UN peacekeepers. This court decision brings into question the reliability of the UN “peacekeeping” forces– when it comes to the protection of innocent civilians in war-torn regions.
Gone are the days of the United States lighting the way in times of war. Washington has been weakened and disfigured by decades of corruption and lack of moral leadership.
While the remains of 298 innocent victims, including 80 children and some of the world’s top scientists in the field of AIDS research, lie dismembered in the remote fields of eastern Ukraine, innocent people all over the world will continue to be put in harms way, as they wait for justice from the bureaucrats in the United Nations.
This is the tragic reality of our times.
May this act of war not be forgotten– and may the passengers and crew members of Flight 17 rest in the peace of Our Lord.

It is fascinating to watch the news from Ukraine, along with the speculation on what will happen next, as the Crimea (officially the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) moves closer and closer to becoming a part of Russia.
Let’s take a look at how some territories have evolved or changed hands over time… for better or worse:
On a day such as this… in 1681, King Charles II handed over a large piece of his American land holdings to William Penn to satisfy a debt the king owed to Penn’s father. This land included present-day Pennsylvania and Delaware. The democratic principles that Penn established in the Pennsylvania frame of government, served as an inspiration for the United States Constitution.
On a day such as this… in 1804, a ceremony was conducted to transfer ownership of the Louisiana Territory from France to the United States.
On a day such as this… in 1952, Fulgencio Batista carried out a coup d’état in Cuba, anticipating that the government would fall in the hands of the socialists. Following his takeover, Batista led Cuba’s economy to the highest level the republic had ever known, ahead of all other Spanish-speaking nations in the Western Hemisphere. Unfortunately, Batista’s unconstitutional takeover made the long-established Cuban Marxist elements even more determined to control the island, as they did in 1959, when Fidel Castro began his bloody Communist dictatorship— placing the island’s territory at the service of the former Soviet Union.
Batista’s rule lasted less than seven years.
Castro’s Communist rule has lasted more than 55 years—and has been instrumental in the spread of Marxism and totalitarianism in the Western Hemisphere, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
On a day such as this… in 1959, Tibetans were protesting outside of the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, in defiance of the occupation by Communist Chinese forces, which began in 1950.
Sixty four years later, Tibet is still under Chinese Communist rule.
On a day such as this… the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is not protesting Russian occupation forces—because the majority of Crimeans are of Russian descent and identify with Russia. The March 16 referendum in Crimea (which is considered unconstitutional by the Ukranian government) will essentially be a choice of YES NOW or YES LATER. In other words, join Russia immediately– or declare independence and then join Russia.
And there’s nothing that the world can do.
As such, this is beginning to look more and more like an awkward situation for uninformed newscasters and self-declared political sages—who have little understanding of the demographics and the history of the region.
Sadly, powerful entities such as the European Union and Russia are pushing for vast socialist territorial governance—and are suppressing the sovereignty of smaller states.
It’s called socialism. That is why Russia is a close friend of Fidel Castro’s Communist dictatorship. The same goes for the European Union.
The rhetoric of the Russian government may differ from that of the European Union, but their goals are the same: domination of entire regions. It’s all a question of who is bigger and more powerful to hold the reins of these smaller countries. And they are not hiding their agenda. Case in point: Germany’s Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, considers that political parties are a threat to peace!
This regional domination is not done with bullets– but with economic control.
Ask the Greeks, who have lost their sovereignty and have been impoverished morally and economically, by selling their beautiful country to the socialists. The vast majority of Greek government debt is now owned by other European governments and the ECB (European Central Bank).
The old grand halls of governments across the world have turned their backs on great statesmanship.
So, on a day such as this… we watch the United States spending millions of dollars mobilizing military assets across the Bosporus and into the Black Sea. Mind you, I’m neither a pacifist nor an isolationist. But reality shows that the Crimeans will decide their fate by choosing:

The choices that Ukraine faces are representative of the times:
Domination by European Union socialist economists– and “gender equality enforcers”
vs.
Domination by a former Soviet KGB agent
Ukraine, a country which is politically, culturally and ethnically divided comes out losing once again– no matter which way she turns.
Ukraine is being torn between two powers fighting for control of the same objective:
Socialism
This is particularly distressing when we consider Ukraine’s past and the massive Holomodor (extermination by starvation) that Ukrainians suffered under Stalin during the Soviet period.
Now, consider the economic and moral impoverishment that the Ukrainians will face under the socialist public policies of the European Union (ask the Greeks and the Spaniards).
And if you still have any doubts about the socialist intentions of both Vladimir Putin in Russia and the European Union, notice the company they both keep.
This past week Putin docked his spy ship in Fidel Castro’s Havana Harbor. [1]
Ah, but you say… surely the Russians are just picking up some rum.
Actually, no. Russia has a strong diplomatic, economic and strategic relationship with Cuba’s Communist government. Russia is one of Castro’s strongest advocates against the symbolic U.S. embargo. In fact, Russia considers Cuba such an important geopolitical partner that it forgave Cuba’s $29 billion debt in December 2013. [2] [3]
Oh, Marielena… Marielena– how can you say this, when Vladimir Putin and the Russian Orthodox Church are promoting faith and morality?
Ah yes, the Russian Orthodox Church was also promoting faith and morality while it acted as the biggest arm of the KGB during the Soviet period– helping send untold thousands to their deaths and to the Gulags. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin was also standing by as a loyal KGB agent.
And for the Catholics among us, let us not forget that it was the Russian Orthodox patriarchate of Moscow which demanded that the Second Vatican Council remove any and all denouncements against communism. In fact, Russian Orthodox “observers” were invited to take prominent seats, during the Second Vatican Council sessions. [4]
Anyone who has entered through the door of Good and Evil at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome would have seen the relief on the door honoring a Russian Orthodox “observer” seated between John XXIII and Paul VI. [4]
Communist tendencies in the Russian Orthodox hierarchy have persisted to this day, as we witnessed during Patriarch Kirill’s visit to Beijing, where he met with China’s President, Xi Jinping, on May 10, 2013– in order to get Beijing’s blessing for the Russian Orthodox Church in China. This is another example of the great deceit called the “Sino-Soviet divide.” [4]
The modern history of the Russian Orthodox Church is one of shameless duplicity, while preaching faith and morality.
My dear reader, don’t be pulled into the river of emotions. This is how many faithful Christians are led to believe in farcical victories by impostors dressed as modern crusaders, who are socialists to the core. This is precisely how the Roman Catholic Church has been destroyed from within, for more than fifty years.
I also do not see Francis at the Vatican acting in a manner that would ensure an authentic consecration of Russia, as requested by Our Heavenly Mother in Fatima. As Catholics, it is our profound belief that this is the only hope for Russia.
I do not believe that Vladimir Putin and the Russian Orthodox Church can be trusted, based on their duplicitous actions outlined above, which continue as I write these words.
Meanwhile, European Union officials are reinvigorating their love affair with Cuba’s murderous Marxist government by sending their educational and cultural emissaries to the Communist island prison. [5]
Ah, but you say… surely this cultural and educational interest in Cuba, on the part of EU officials, is simply so that they can “dialogue” and learn how to do the mambo.
Well, you are partly right.
The Castro government hides the horrendous crimes committed against the Cuban people behind the aggressive promotion of the voluptuous natural beauty of the island, the effervescent character of its people, and Cuban music. That irresistible Cuban beat always does it.
But Cuba means more than mambo to the EU.
Cuba is the European Union’s strongest geopolitical ally in the Western Hemisphere for the advancement of Sustainable Development, which is the massive international socialist United Nations initiative aimed at controlling population growth, food production and consumption, private property, the sovereignty of nations, education, culture– and every aspect of human life on the planet– all in the name of “sustainable” environmental stewardship.
After all, how else are globalists going to control entire regions?
The socialists have even written the music to go along with their plans.
A socialist musical interlude
Life is not just a war of words, is it? And the socialists know it.
They know that appealing to your emotions is a key factor– because if they allow you to analyze carefully the words they use (“sustainable,” “equal,” “social justice,” “gender equality”) you would be running desperately in the opposite direction. These words amount to nothing but complete subservience to the pecuniary and moral plans of the state.
So, as we ponder the choices that the long-suffering people of Ukraine face, we shall do it not just with words– but with music, because socialism is all about smoke, mirrors and emotions.
Let us listen to the Dance of the Knights, part of the Romeo and Juliet ballet suites by Sergei Prokofiev, a famous 20th Century Ukrainian-born composer who chose to live under Soviet domination– after having been given the opportunity to live in the United States, Germany and France. Upon his return to the Soviet Union, Prokofiev subjected his musical works to the guidelines of “socialist realism.” [6]
But Marielena, where are you taking me?
You see, this “socialist realism” — when applied to music– is a political extension of the doctrine of the affections, a theory of musical aesthetics promoted by late Baroque theorists and composers, which argues that music is capable of arousing a variety of specific emotions within the listener. The central point of this doctrine is the notion that the composer is capable of manipulating a piece of music, in order to bring about a specific involuntary emotional response in the listener. [7]
Communists love the idea of socialist realism through “involuntary emotional responses.”
And socialist realism is the key to the domination of Ukraine– as well as the rest of the world, with such involuntary emotional responses as you have seen in the streets of Kiev. Involuntary. Yes. Because the Ukrainian people have been emotionally conditioned to react and follow powers that can bail them out.
This is what happens when several generations are born under Communist domination. They learn to “choose”– but they lose the will to fight for REAL sovereignty and freedom.
It’s what Fidel Castro calls the “new man.” The new man who only knows how to choose between socialism… and socialism.
I speak from experience, having lived under Fidel Castro’s bloody Communist regime.
The truth is that the Ukrainian people are staring into an abyss– because when it comes to Russia and the European Union, neither one can be trusted.
An ominous musical score has already been written for the Ukrainians– and for you.
Can you hear the sound of your beating heart, and theirs, marching in unison for the socialist motherland?

In spite of a vibrant conservative movement in countries like France and Spain– the European Union, and its socialist autocrats, continue to increase their shameless economic engagement with the despotic Castro Communist regime in Cuba.
Androulla Vassiliou, who hails from Cyprus, is the EU’s Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth. After meeting with Cuba’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, Androulla expressed her hopes that an opening of EU negotiations on a new political agreement and “dialogue” with Cuba, will inspire Obama to do the same.
Androulla is obviously a dedicated socialist who along with her colleagues will continue to advance the EU’s “progressive” agenda– with reckless disregard for the 55 years of Communist torture that the Cuban people have endured.
Socialism survives through relationships being forged with totalitarian states, like Cuba and China, until a massive chain of oppression is constructed. Socialists navigate under the banner of “Sustainable Development”– and they are choking the rights of citizens in every region of the world– with the guidance of the United Nations.
