French President Emmanuel Macron and his eclectic parliamentary candidates

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

Well, well. Here we go with another colorful round of socialist governance in France. Macron has, for starters, unveiled his parliamentary candidate list, which includes a former female bullfighter and an eccentric star mathematician with a penchant for hats and ascot ties. 👇

This parade of peculiar candidates would be actually fun to watch, if France weren’t in such despair over the blood that has spilled on its streets, at the hands of Islamic extremists. And let’s not mention unemployment.

So, this whole scenario is not fun– when you consider what’s at stake.

I’ve always loved France, the French language and the French people. It breaks my heart to see that such a beautiful and great nation has been transformed by socialist policies, which helped open the door to Islamic extremism– while Macron makes statements like this:

This imponderable threat, this threat, will be a fact of daily life in the coming years.”

Macron’s resignation to the “imponderable threat” reminds us of Obama’s rhetoric on the subject of terrorism– meaning, we just have to learn to live with it. As such, it should come as no surprise that Obama unabashedly endorsed Macron. After all, they are kindred socialist (progressive) spirits.

Here’s a quote from a BBC news article published three hours ago, which affirms Macron’s background:

Emmanuel Macron knows that his weak point is his connection with the outgoing regime. He is a socialist at heart, as he has often said, and made his name serving a Socialist Party president.”

I wonder what great French men like King (and Saint) Louis IX would say?

We must pray, very hard, for the people of France.

Someone has to say the truth…
