Lilly King was overcome with joy at winning the Gold medal tonight in the 100 M Breaststroke against Yulia Efimova, the Russian swimmer who was humiliated when she was welcomed with jeers at the Rio Olympics. Efimova has a record of doping- having been suspended for 16 months between 2013 and 2015.
Yesterday Lilly King wagged her finger at Efimova, as an admonishment that she would take home the gold, fair and square. She did.
