RIO 2016 OLYMPICS: TAIWAN (falsely accused of being Chinese Taipei, which doesn’t exist) wins Gold and 2 Bronze Medals

Congratulations Taiwan for the following medals, so far:

Gold for women’s 53 kg weightlifting, bronze for women’s 58 kg weightlifting and bronze in women’s archery.

Millions of people around the world reject and repudiate the Olympic Committee’s acquiescence to the Communist thugs in Beijing, by refusing to recognize Taiwan as a free and sovereign nation and calling it Chinese Taipei.

The following are excerpts from a CNN report dated August 5, 2016, (edited August 6) by James Griffiths, titled: “What’s in a name? Anger in  Taiwan over ‘Chinese Taipei’ Olympics moniker.”

But the anthem that played for the first Taiwanese athlete to ever win gold — she won gold at the 2004 Olympics in the lightweight taekwondo competition — was not the one Chen heard growing up, nor was the flag in front of her the red and blue of Taiwan.”

Chen stood under the white banner of ‘ Taipei,’ a nation that does not exist… ”

In 1979, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) passed the Nagoya Resolution, conferring on Taiwan the name “Chinese Taipei” and banning its Olympic committee from using the ROC flag or national anthem.”

Chinese Taipei does not exist– except in the despotic minds of the bloody Communist dictators in China. There’s only one free China– and it’s called Taiwan!
