President Trump: This is important

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

I perfectly understand that President Trump is very upset (so am I) at members of the fake media who are relentless in their vicious attacks against him, like Mika Brzezinski and her husband-to-be, Joe Scarborough at MSNBC. This is why the POTUS launched the Tweet captioned above. However, through my reply I’m respectfully reminding President Trump that he should concentrate on the enemy that the fake media serves.

URGENT MESSAGE FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP: Please Shut Down Espionage Center in Washington DC Known as Cuban Embassy

Image captioned above shows some of Communist Cuba's heroes: Fidel Castro, Barack Obama and Pope Francis.

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

Cuba’s murderous Communist dictatorship has officially and completely rejected President Trump’s Cuba Policy. Consequently, President Trump must shut down the Fake Cuban Embassy immediately. Otherwise, we will continue to face two dangerous situations, which will directly affect the people of the United States and the people of Cuba, whom President Trump wants to help:

  • The Fake Cuban Embassy in Washington DC will continue to act as a espionage center in the heart of our nation’s capital– through Cuba’s sophisticated international intelligence network, which serves our enemies, such as terrorist organizations (Hezbollah, Hamas, etc.), as well as the governments of Iran, China, North Korea, Russia and others– who do not have the best interest of America in mind, or who wish to do us harm.
  • Trump’s Cuba Policy, which now stands officially rejected by the Communist military dictatorship of Cuba, would help prolong the suffering of the people of Cuba, based on the long-standing correlation between fake diplomacy and the empowerment of communist dictatorships. This travesty should not be part of President Trump’s legacy.

Here is the official rejection by Cuba’s military dictatorship of President Trump’s Cuba Policy, published today, June 19, in Granma, which is the “Official Voice of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee.”

June 16, 2017, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, in a speech replete with hostile rhetoric which recalled the era of open confrontation with our country, announced in a Miami theater his administration’s policy toward Cuba which reverses advances made these last two years, after December 17, 2014, when Presidents Raúl Castro Ruz and Barack Obama made public the decision to reestablish diplomatic relations and initiate a process toward normalization of bilateral ties.

In what constitutes a setback in relations between the two countries, Trump delivered a speech and during the same event signed a policy directive entitled, ” National Security Presidential Memorandum on Strengthening U.S. Policy toward Cuba,” mandating the elimination of educational “people-to-people” exchanges undertaken by individuals, and greater control of U.S. travelers to Cuba, as well as the prohibition of economic, commercial, or financial transactions on the part of U.S. companies with Cuban enterprises linked to the Revolutionary Armed Forces, intelligence or security services – all of this with the intentional objective of denying us income. The U.S. President justified this policy with alleged concerns about the human rights situation in Cuba and the need to rigorously enforce blockade laws, conditioning its lifting, as well as any improvement in bilateral relations, on our country making changes elemental to our constitutional order.

Trump likewise vacated the Presidential Policy Directive, “Normalization of relations between the United States and Cuba,” issued by President Obama on October 14, 2016, which, although it did not attempt to hide the interventionist character of U.S. policy or the objective of advancing its interest in changes in our country’s economic, political and social order, the directive recognized Cuba’s independence, sovereignty, and self-determination, and the Cuban government as a legitimate, equal interlocutor, as well as the benefits that both countries and people could gain in a relationship of civilized coexistence, within the context of the great differences which exist between our two governments. It also recognized that the blockade was an obsolete policy that should be eliminated.

Once again, the U.S. government resorts to the coercive methods of the past, adopting measures to tighten the blockade, in effect since February of 1962, which not only causes harm and depravation to the Cuban people and constitutes an undeniable obstacle to our economy’s development, but also impacts the sovereignty and interests of other countries, generating international condemnation.

The measures announced create additional obstacles to already restricted opportunities available to U.S. businesses to trade with and invest in Cuba.

At the same time, they further restrict the rights of U.S. citizens to visit our country, already limited given the obligation to employ discriminatory licenses, at a time when the U.S. Congress – as a reflection of the opinion of broad sectors of this society – demands not only an end to the travel ban, but also that restrictions on commerce with Cuba be eliminated.

President Trump’s announcements contradict the majority support of the U.S. public, including the Cuban émigré community in that country, for the lifting of the blockade and normal relations between Cuba and the United States.

For his part, the U.S. President, once again poorly advised, makes decisions that favor political interests of an extremist minority of Cuban origin in the state of Florida, which for small-minded reasons do not desist in their pretensions to punish Cuba and its people, for exercising the legitimate, sovereign right to be free and take control of their own destiny.

At a later time, we will more thoroughly analyze the scope and implications of this announcement.

The government of Cuba denounces the new measures to tighten the blockade, which are destined to failure, as has been repeatedly demonstrated in the past, and which will not achieve their purpose of weakening the Revolution, or breaking the Cuban people, whose resistance to aggression of any kind or origin has been proven over almost six decades.

The government of Cuba rejects the manipulation of the issue of human rights for political purposes, and double standards in addressing it. The Cuban people enjoy fundamental rights and freedoms, and have achieved accomplishments of which they are proud, and which are only a dream for many of the world’s countries, including the United States itself, such as the right to health, education, social security, equal pay for equal work, the rights of children, the right to food, peace and development. With its modest resources, Cuba has contributed, as well, to the expansion of human rights in many places around the world, despite the limitations imposed given its condition as a blockaded country.

The United States is in no position to teach us a lesson. We have serious concerns about respect for and protection of human rights in this country, where there have been numerous cases of police murder, brutality, and abuse, in particular against the African-American population; the right to life is violated as a result of deaths caused by firearms; child labor is exploited; and serious manifestations of racial discrimination exist; threats are being made to impose more restrictions on health care services, which would leave 23 million persons without coverage; women do not receive equal pay for equal work; emigrants and refugees are marginalized, in particular those from Islamic countries; the building of walls that belittle neighbors is proposed; and international commitments to protect the environment and confront climate change are abandoned.

Likewise, also of concern are violations of human rights committed by the United States in other countries, such as the arbitrary detentions of dozens of prisoners in territory illegally occupied by the Guantánamo Naval Base in Cuba, where torture has taken place; the extrajudicial executions and deaths of civilians caused by bombs and the use of drones; and wars unleashed against different countries like Iraq, justified with lies about the possession of weapons of mass destruction, with disastrous consequences for the security and stability of the Middle East region.

We recall that Cuba is a state party to 44 human rights international covenants, while the United States is so to only 18. Thus we have much to show, to say, and defend.

Upon confirming the decision to reestablish diplomatic relations, Cuba and the United States affirmed the intention to develop respectful, cooperative ties between the two people and governments, based on the principles and purposes enshrined in the United Nations Charter.

In the declaration issued July 1, 2015, the revolutionary government of Cuba reaffirmed, “These relations must be founded on absolute respect for our independence and sovereignty; the inalienable right of every state to choose its own political, economic, social, and cultural system, without interference of any kind; and on equality and reciprocity, which constitute irrevocable principles of international law,” as stated in the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, signed by heads of state and government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), during its 2nd Summit, in Havana. Cuba has not renounced these principles, and never will.

The government of Cuba reiterates its willingness to continue the respectful dialogue and cooperation in areas of mutual interest, as well as the negotiation of pending bilateral issues with the government of the United States. Over the last two years, it has been demonstrated that, as President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, has repeatedly stated, the two countries can cooperate and coexist in a civilized manner, respecting differences and promoting all that benefits both nations and peoples, but it cannot be expected that, in order to do so, Cuba will make concessions which compromise our independence or sovereignty, nor accept conditions of any type.

Any strategy directed toward changing the political, economic and social system in Cuba, be it one that seeks to do so through pressure and dictates, or with the use of more subtle methods, is condemned to failure.

The changes which may be needed in Cuba, like those made since 1959 and those we are undertaking now as part of the updating of our socio-economic model, will continue to be decided independently by the Cuban people.

As we have since the triumph of the Revolution, January 1, 1959, we will assume any risk, and continue firm and sure in the construction of a sovereign, independent, socialist, democratic, prosperous and sustainable nation.

Havana, June 16, 2017.

President Trump, again– PLEASE immediately SHUT DOWN the Fake Cuban Embassy– which is acting as a dangerous center of espionage against the people of the United States. Such action would be consistent with your promise to put “America First”– as well as your promise to help the people of Cuba.

ON CUBA: President Trump– let me know when you are ready to talk

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

Having suffered unspeakable horrors under Communism in Cuba, I have a sacred responsibility to advise on this urgent situation-- and have done so as a former candidate to the U.S. Senate (on the ballot 2012) and as a writer.

The world has abandoned the people of Cuba, but I will never abandon my conscience.

The world has abandoned the people of Cuba. They did so long ago. They did so each time they established business partnerships with the Communist military dictators in Cuba.

When it comes to Americans– they did so every time they chose, FOR DECADES, to enter Cuba ILLEGALLY by traveling through Mexico and Canada in violation of United States laws and international laws, and by colluding with the Communists in Havana who refused to stamp their passports with their entry, in order to avoid leaving a trail of travel into the island prison.

President Trump has not “completely” reversed Obama’s Cuba policy

I have supported President Trump from the moment he announced his candidacy– to the disappointment of many of my fellow Republicans. However, when it comes to his Cuba policy, I have publicly written since he announced his candidacy, that he is to follow a tough and swift approach– or he will simply be another U.S. President who will pass through Washington DC while the people of Cuba continue to suffer unspeakable horrors 90 miles from our shores.

As a survivor of Communism in Cuba, I have a sacred responsibility to advise on this urgent situation– and have done so both as a former candidate to the U.S. Senate (on the ballot 2012) and as a writer.

As such, I insist that President Trump’s new Cuba policy has left huge gaps that enable the Communists in Havana to not just oppress the people inside the island prison– but to export their evil Marxist ideology and totalitarian regime to other countries in the Western Hemisphere (i.e., Venezuela), as well as to Africa and other parts of the world.

The truth is that President Trump has NOT “completely” reversed Obama’s Cuba policy, as he said in his speech in Miami, at the Manuel Artime Theater on Friday, June 16.

President Trump needs to surround himself with courageous people who are willing to advise him, without fear, on the proper course to follow regarding the evil Communist dictatorship in Cuba.

President Trump, let me know when you are ready to talk.

DIFFICULT TIMES: Message from Louis IX (Saint and King of France) to President Trump

Sunday – June 18, 2017

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

Louis IX, Saint and King of France– was not just King. He was a warrior. His wisdom is timeless:

See that thou hast in thy company men, whether religious or lay, who are right worthy and loyal and not full of covetousness, and confer with them oft; and fly and eschew the company of the wicked. Hearken willingly to the Word of God and keep it in thine heart, and seek diligently after prayers and indulgences. Love all that is good and profitable and hate all that is evil, wheresoever it may be.”— Louis IX, Saint and King of France.

Happy Father’s Day, Mr. President.

President Trump’s Cuba Policy is Not Complete

It’s now or never

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

I have publicly supported President Trump from the moment he announced his candidacy– which upset many fellow Republicans (not to mention Democrats!). But, when it comes to Cuba, he needs to listen to those of us who suffered unspeakable horrors under Castro’s Communist military regime.

To “COMPLETELY” cancel Obama’s one-sided deal with Cuba, President Trump would need to end the farcical “diplomacy” with Cuba’s despotic Communist dictatorship– and sanction countries that support Cuba’s murderous leaders.

There’s a direct correlation between fake “diplomacy” and the empowerment of murderous Communist dictatorships.

In addition to ending this fake diplomacy, we must include sanctions in our trade deals with those heartless countries that benefit from the blood of the oppressed Cuban people.

President Trump would also need to put an end to fake “cultural and educational” exchange travel programs– which line the pockets of the Communists thugs in the island prison and support their Marxist indoctrination programs.

For 58 years the world has not cared about the torture, imprisonment and execution of innocent Cubans– including members of my family. It only hits them when they vacation and travel through these despotic places and are captured as political pawns. But until then, they could have cared less about the suffering of those who live under Communism. Traveling to Cuba is not a right. It is a wrong.

FROM TRUMP HEADQUARTERS: “We MUST Keep Fighting. Our Country is at Stake”

“James Comey stated under oath that President Trump was NOT under investigation by the FBI.

…So why has the Fake News Media spent so much time reporting on the so-called “Russia investigation?”

Democrats are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites inciting a WITCH HUNT to take down President Trump… And for one simple reason: He wants to put America FIRST.

Putting America First means special interests no longer get to sell out our country for their own personal gain. It means we no longer enter multinational agreements that surrender our sovereignty. It means we no longer funnel billions of American dollars to countries that hate us. It means we no longer let just anyone pour over our border.

Our winning movement ended an era of selling out American interests — and the corrupt political class is FURIOUS.
The witch hunt won’t be over today. It won’t be over tomorrow. We MUST keep fighting. Our country is at stake.

Thanks,
Trump Headquarters”

U.S. Senate Intel Hearing Exposes James Comey’s Premeditated Agenda Against President Trump

Featured photo: Shameful Leaker and Rightfully Fired Director of the FBI, James B. Comey

By Marielena Montesino de Stuart

Today’s Comey Hearing

When being questioned by Senator Marco Rubio, former FBI Director, James Comey, admitted that President Trump had told him during one of their conversations that he doesn’t want the broad FBI investigation into Russia to end. That he (President Trump) would want the investigation to continue, should there be any wrongdoing by others (such as “satellite associates” of his) in any specific way– and that he would want to find out.

This confirms President Trump’s innocence and eagerness to drain the swamp.

On January 6, 2017, Director Comey informed then president-elect Trump that there was no active counterintelligence investigation against Trump.

During a conversation on February 14, Comey said that President Trump told him that he hoped the investigation into Michael Flynn’s conversation with the Russian Ambassador could end soon– because Flynn did nothing wrong, and that he’s a good guy.

In Comey’s prepared remarks, he stated that during a conversation with the president on March 30, President Trump strongly denied the claims made in a Russian dossier by Christopher Steele (former British intelligence officer), which alleged President Trump’s involvement with Russian hookers and ties with Russia. Trump stated that he had nothing to do with Russia nor with any Russian hookers– and that he would know when he would have been recorded in Russia. President Trump also wanted the word to get out that he was not personally under investigation, in order to “lift the cloud” of doubt.

Comey said that he did not tell the president that the FBI and the Department of Justice were reluctant to publicly confirm that there was no personal investigation on President Trump– for various reasons, including the duty to correct, should the circumstances change.

So, it is evident that Comey did not want to lift the cloud of doubt over President Trump’s head– even though at the time he was not under investigation. Yet, Comey was willing to bend over backwards to excuse HIllary Clinton, who was under investigation for potential crimes, including treason.

Comey’s bias is shameful.

Comey's Leaker Daniel Richman (friend of Former FBI Director James B. Comey)
Comey’s Leaker Daniel Richman (friend of Former FBI Director James B. Comey)

When being questioned further in the hearing, Director Comey testified that he had enlisted a friend of his (Daniel Richman, Law Professor at Columbia University) to share with the press a memo of his conversations with President Trump.

This confirms that Comey is a leaker– and so is his friend Daniel Richman.

Comey also said that he shared the memo with his good friend at Columbia University, in order to spur the appointment of a special counsel to lead the Russia investigation.

The Deep Communist State Agenda

The above circumstances make me even more uncomfortable with Rod Rosentein’s involvement in the writing of his now-famous memo about Comey, and his  subsequent appointment of Robert Mueller as Special Counsel in the Russia investigation. This scenario does not pass the smell test. As President Trump correctly stated: “With all of the illegal acts that took place in the Clinton campaign and Obama Administration, there was never a special counsel appointed!”

President Trump should have fired Comey without Rod Rosentein’s involvement or input from the DOJ.

In my opinion, Comey circumvented the chain of command to manipulate the start of an investigation against President Trump, by using the mainstream media.

And let’s face it, with Washington’s Deep Communist State Agenda, Comey could not have been acting alone.

The Deep Communist State Agenda involves thousands of positions being held by individuals in government, who are actively working as enemies of President Trump.

Comey stated that there was never any direct order to end the Flynn investigation, neither by President Trump nor by anyone in the White House. Comey added that he did not believe at the time that the president was obstructing justice in any way regarding the conversation about Michael Flynn– and that he is confident that the special counsel, Robert Mueller, will investigate whether or not there was any obstruction by the president for inquiring about Flynn’s  investigation.

Comey’s premeditated agenda against President Trump

Comey testified that he started writing detailed accounts of his conversations with President Trump right after his first meeting with him– because he feared that the president would lie at a future date about the specifics of their conversations.

That is cowardly. Why would Comey think this way– if he didn’t already have a biased opinion of Trump before meeting with him.

It is noteworthy that Comey never kept any memos of his conversations and/or personal meetings with former President Obama.  This sudden memo-keeping trend shows Comey’s premeditated agenda against President Trump. This further confirms that Comey was not fit to stay as Director of the FBI.

Today’s hearing, along with Comey’s released opening remarks on Wednesday, confirm that this whole thing is a sham and a waste of taxpayer money– with the objective of bringing down a United States President who has the cojones to go after the communists in Washington DC– including Comey, who is an active fellow traveler.

Congratulations to President Trump, for getting rid of Comey, an arrogant leaker of private conversations– posing as FBI Director.

KEEP DRAINING THAT SWAMP, PRESIDENT TRUMP. KEEP DRAINING IT: James B. Comey’s Testimony is A Waste of Taxpayer Money

We got a taste of recently-fired FBI Director James B. Comey’s upcoming testimony– through the release of his “Statement for the Record” for tomorrow’s hearing. Seven pages of wasted paper, just to tell us that President Trump confirmed that he had nothing to do with Russian hookers.

Keep draining that swamp, President Trump. Keep draining it.

Au revoir Paris… Bonjour Amérique! Saying goodbye to the “Climate Change” Accord

President Trump has delivered a hard blow to international Communism by saying goodbye to the Paris Accord. Francis in the Vatican is disappointed, so are Angela Merkel in Germany, Paolo Gentiloni in Italy and Emmanuel Macron in France- as well Xi Jingping in China and Vladimir Putin in Russia. Well, well… we are not surprised!

Today is a great day in America– and all over the world. The Communists have been dealt a hard blow by losing the United States as their prized captured servant in what is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) international Communist taxpayer scams in history: the Paris Accord.

Please read my commentary from yesterday regarding the Paris Accord and its inherent dangers to Americans.

President Trump kept his promise and pulled America out of the Paris Accord, during a brilliant speech delivered today at the White House Rose Garden. The new Director of the EPA Administration, Scott Pruitt, followed President Trump with some excellent words.

Please listen to this historic speech:

MEMORIAL DAY 2017: President Donald J. Trump’s Speech at Arlington National Cemetery

A Special Message on this Memorial Day

As a survivor of Communism, I extend my deepest gratitude to all the soldiers who have died for our freedom, and to their families for the support that they gave their sons and daughters as they went into battle– never to see them alive again. The suffering of these families cannot be measured. Our fallen heroes and their families are present in my prayers each and every day.

President Trump’s Memorial Day speech at Arlington National Cemetery

“…God is with you, and your loved ones are with Him. They died in war so that we could live in peace. I believe that God has a special place in Heaven for those who laid down their lives so that others may live free from fear and this horrible oppression. Now, let us pledge to make the most of that freedom that they so gallantly and brilliantly fought for, and they died to protect.  Let us also pledge to tell the stories of Robert, Chris, Andrew– and all of America’s fallen warriors, today and for the next one thousand years.”– President Donald J. Trump – Memorial Day May 29, 2017, Arlington National Cemetery.
